Master’s candidate in the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo

Theresa O’Neill is a Master’s candidate in the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario. She has worked on a variety of planning initiatives, which include: creating a walkability assessment tool for the Town of Hanover; facilitating discussions for an Age-Friendly Waterloo event; and providing recommendations for St. Catharines on tree protection and management. Previously, Theresa worked at the City of London where she learned the intricacies of planning application processes. Her thesis research is focused on flexible street projects in Canada.
