Vallari Patel is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto - Scarborough’s City Studies & Human Geography Undergraduate program where she was awarded the Outstanding Student Award from the Department. She has also volunteered with The Center for Active Transportation (TCAT) as a Complete Streets Research Intern. Her interest are centered around complete streets and making Toronto safer for its pedestrians and cyclists through design and community advocacy. Vallari is seeking to pursue a Master’s degree in Urban Planning in the future.
