Melissa McEnroe is a the Manager of Affordable Housing Development at York Region, focusing on the urban planning, real estate, and construction aspects of new affordable housing projects. Previously, she worked for Toronto Community Housing on various revitalization initiatives, in addition to her experience in developing commercial and residential real estate in the private sector. Melissa understands the value of city building and is passionate about creating strong communities. She is active in her community, volunteering for various neighbourhood initiatives that help to foster social cohesion, including a founding member of a local running club that encourages fitness as a social activity to bring neighbours together. She holds a Master of Science in Urban Planning from the University of Toronto in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Florida.
