Chidinma Azubuike

Urban Planner, WSP Canada Inc.

Chidinma Azubuike is an Urban Planner, focusing on land use planning and community engagement, currently working at WSP Canada Inc. Much of her work and interests as a Planner includes site analysis and research, TOD viability and feasibility research, engagement of stakeholders and coordination of projects focused on the maintenance of public infrastructure. 

Chidinma is a recent graduate in 2019 from Ryerson University, completing a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning. During which she completed various intensive planning and design studios including Realizing the Master Plan for Pearson Airport Mobility Hub and Best in Class Practices for Missing Middle Housing Options in the Toronto Region".

In addition to this, when Chidinma isn't working on planning projects, she continues to research and practice community engagement by being part of organizations such as Durham Youth Council and My Sisters Keeper that focus on serving, uplifting and empowering young people and specifically women in the GTA. Chidinma has also created a platform and online community, the “But What Do I Know Podcast?” a safe space for BIPOC individuals to share stories and experiences and to learn, heal and laugh.
