Mikaela Sword currently serves as the program’s full-time Field Ambassador. She is a Planner with WSP Canada’s Planning, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design department who contributes to a wide-variety of assignments on behalf of public and private sector clients. Mikaela has achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Honours Planning (Co-op) from the University of Waterloo, with specializations in Land Development and Urban Design. She has worked on large-scale municipal infrastructure projects in the City of Toronto and has experience in community engagement and conflict resolution. She has worked on comprehensive planning policy and land use reviews, and has experience navigating development approval processes.
